Thank you Hillary!

Hello from the Nathan Miles Bunch...we want to thank Hillary for her efforts in getting us all to keep up with the blogging on this site! We wanted to show our support by adding our two cents! We are doing great, the fact that we I (Samantha) am able to contribute right now shows that baby is resting for me which is a huge bonus, since she is going through her "all I want to do is be held all day" stage!
Nathan's store is really making progress, the final inspection is happening this week, and after that it should be smooth sailing for us to complete our handy work in the space, and get ready for opening day. We are going to be having a big party so we will make sure to send the details to all of you in case you think you might want to make the trip down to join us for the festivities.
The girls are having a fun summer, we TRY to give them something fun in each day to look forward to and it seems to be working, they are sharing their happiness in all of the fun activities we have been able to provide, and we are getting some lasting memories as a family.
We miss all of you and look forward to our trip to Maui, although we have to admit we don't quite now all of the logistics with traveling and the new store, but we will do all we can to make it work out.
Love you,
Nathan, Samantha, Claire, Madeleine, and Lucy

FYI

Just so you all know - if you care - Andrew has his cast off. It still hurts and if it still hurts in a week, they might have to do surgery.

He fainted when they took it off. But he's fine and ay the Tiger/A's game.

Andrew's arm

I don't know who knew or not, but Andrew has had his arm in a cast for 2 weeks now. 1 more to go. At the state baseball championship game that he was playing in, he was playing catcher. His coach kept telling him to get closer to the batter - who was all the way back in the batter's box. He knew he had to what his coach told him to do or he would get yelled at :) ..... he did what he was told and he got blasted in the elbow. Nannie happened to be at that game (we were in Elk Grove).

Anyway... ended up with a fracture of his growth plate. He has managed to swim a couple of times.... One week to go!

the Losey's join in!!

Hi everyone, I am officially putting in our two cents! Things are good with the Losey family. The girls Cheyenne and Shelby are getting big and as always active!! Cheyenne will be 3 in November and Shelby is almost 10 months old! Where does the time go?? Shane is working as an assistant manager at Cole Haan in the city. It's a high end men's and women's shoe and leather good store. Mommy Losey is still working at good ol' CPK. Hopefully not for much longer. I am going to get a new job with one of my regulars at the restaurant, nad be able to burn my uniform for good!!!! This is a good thing. We are living in Concord by the Bart station. We love our cute little house and we have fun hanging out in the back yard; playing on the grass. This is our first entry, but I know there will be more to come. This girls need me right now, but I will be back with stories of our family.
