Boutique Time!!

Oh wow I feel like I'm taking over the family blog! I wanted to share this with all of you, I'm sure most of you did not know this about me. I am so excited, I get to show some of my art work. I have been some what worried that others might not like it, but Jared says "that is the beauty of art everyone can have their own opinions". I began painting at 16 my art was mostly landscapes my mother has my very first canvas piece. She, being so supportive has it in her room she says the painting reminds her of the feeling of freedom. At 17 I stopped painting and began drawing, It comes much easier to me and I have mostly stuck with that. My oldest takes after me and we seem to go thru drawing periods together, It is the only thing she allows me to advise her on. Last year I re arranged the girls rooms and I wanted some art to give it a new look, I decided to shop around. I was amazed at how much children's art was going for and of course not wanting to pay over the top prices, I decided to paint some myself. After completing the paintings I hung them up, I just loved them. soon I had my mother my cousin and friends and other family members asking me to paint some for them. The person who has been the most supportive my mother-in law encouraged me to show them at her boutique. SO here I come hoping that everyone will continue to like my art.

Happy Halloween!!

We had so much fun!! We began at 5pm and went on till 7:30pm. It was so much fun seeing the girls be so excited and have so much fun!! Sarah ran to every door with such happiness as if we never took her out of the house.I was so proud of how polite she is, Please and thank you and even remember to wish every one a safe and happy halloween. She looked so grown up with her costume half devil and half angel. Jared said that she looks like a mini teenager! Yikes! can you imagine. My little baby a teen? Lili oh my, she was really going everywhere her sister went she went stairs or no stairs not afraid one bit. We were amazed at how much she could keep up. It wasn't until the last 15 minutes that she had about all she could take. She held on to her bag of candy and even though it weighed a ton she carried it around not allowing anyone to help her. We were so worried she was going to fall. Both girls came home and dumbed their candy on the floor then took the rest to our bed and began to eat. They got so much candy. full bars and all. I tell you they are so tired they can hardly stand it. all in all we had a safe healthy happy halloween. We wish you all did too!

2nd already!!

With tears in our eyes we send of our angel to school. She is so big. With confidence and not scared at all she marched in to class. Where does the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday we were trying to detach her from our legs as we tryed to leave her in pre school. Altough she was not happy to go to school, she surprised me on how she did not want me to kiss her because she is "too big for that stuff."

Hello Family!! I now have my very own blog as well. It's a bit different from the ones I do have!

So big news right off the bat, if mom didn't tell you already!!

I GOT THE INTERNSHIP @ ABC!!!

This is just so awesome. It's every Monday/Wednesday/Friday - and it's PAID @ $10/hr. I'll be working in current programming, which is all of the shows that ABC currently have on their network! So yes, Lost, Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy ... all of those shows!! I'll keep you guys posted on the one in the writer's room @ Grey's as well!! I hope I can get both, which will mean I'll be working M-F 10-6 every day! Exciting!!

6 MONTHS FROM TODAY........

we will all be together on the island of Maui, Hawaii! Just thought I would post a few pictures for us all to get REALLY excited about being in the most beautiful place on earth. Most of all, we will be together as a WHOLE family ~ a family of 29!!!

Zoo fun.

Today we went to the zoo it was great. The girls ran around everywhere and loved seeing all the animals. Sarahs friend Marni (from Palm springs) was here visiting so we enjoyed her being here and had lots of fun. Here are some photos.

Katelynn would like to say something....

hey family!! as said by my mother, i did go to girls camp, and i had a lot of fun. i also had my testimony strenghtened a lot!!!
basaically for most of the week we juts hung around camp with each other and the awesome leaders. we went on an overnight hike by clear lake, which is a about 1.5 miles from rucker.... its really hard to get woken up at 6:45 during the summer! :(. but we got hot chocolate!! friday was the testimony meeting, and it as touching. i bore my testimony and of course...i cried...A LOT!
being gone made me realize how much i missed my family and how much they mean to me. i love every one of you and i hope to see you soon!!

Hello, We are stopping by to say hey. Well lets see what is my family up too? ummmm.... Jared still working for the same wonderful household. A lot of exciting things happening in the business area. The girls are happy as can be we just got back from Palm springs!! Never have I seen my two little angels have so much fun. They became fishes when we were there, always in the pool! maybe the temperature of 107 had something do do with that Or a lot to do with it. My family was so excited to have us there they all came to see us and they returned when Jared arrived. Sarah lost another tooth(big surprise) The tooth fairy is getting poor! We just celebrated Sarah's birthday the big 7. She thinks she's officially a grown up. I don't know what's her hurry I am enjoying her baby years more than her. She is the perfect big sister so helpful loving and yes sometimes Mean. Lili is 1 Year old can you believe it! She has 8 teeth and 2 more coming in. She loves to dance and play with everything except her toys. She loves loves the water whether she takes a bath or goes swimming she just absolutely loves it. She has such a strong personality and she is just beautiful. As for me well I picked up painting again and I am still scrapbooking. Most importantly I am loving my family.

Hello from the Nathan Miles Bunch...we want to thank Hillary for her efforts in getting us all to keep up with the blogging on this site! We wanted to show our support by adding our two cents! We are doing great, the fact that we I (Samantha) am able to contribute right now shows that baby is resting for me which is a huge bonus, since she is going through her "all I want to do is be held all day" stage!
Nathan's store is really making progress, the final inspection is happening this week, and after that it should be smooth sailing for us to complete our handy work in the space, and get ready for opening day. We are going to be having a big party so we will make sure to send the details to all of you in case you think you might want to make the trip down to join us for the festivities.
The girls are having a fun summer, we TRY to give them something fun in each day to look forward to and it seems to be working, they are sharing their happiness in all of the fun activities we have been able to provide, and we are getting some lasting memories as a family.
We miss all of you and look forward to our trip to Maui, although we have to admit we don't quite now all of the logistics with traveling and the new store, but we will do all we can to make it work out.

FYI

Just so you all know - if you care - Andrew has his cast off. It still hurts and if it still hurts in a week, they might have to do surgery.

He fainted when they took it off. But he's fine and ay the Tiger/A's game.
